This ensemble offers students an opportunity to perform a wide range of musical forms and styles using quality string orchestra literature in the high school setting. Students demonstrate their skills at concerts, performances and festivals throughout the year.  In addition to playing, the string musicians also learn about music theory, music history, listening, and composition. Encouragement and opportunity for further solo and exposure is provided.
