Week at a Glance 9/7 - 9/12
Hello Families of our Higley Marching Knights!
We hope this 3-day weekend brings you rest and relaxation! Only 4 more weeks in this quarter of school and your Marching Knights will be busy with rehearsals, football games, and their first Saturday show schedule.
Important Announcements:
- WATER BOTTLE DROP OFF: To help us stock bottled water at each band event we rely on each student to bring in one case of waters per season. This week we ask all BRASS PLAYERS to bring in a case of water. (trumpet, mellophone, baritone, sousaphone). The waters should have at least 24 bottles in the case, and be the 16.9 ounce bottles. Coincidently those are on sale at Fry’s right now for $2.99 each with your reward card. You can also link your Fry’s reward card to support HIA.
- SATURN'S RETURN SHOW SHIRTS: Students will be receiving their season shirts on Thursday at rehearsal. If parents, friends, or family members would like to purchase their own shirts, please visit our BoosterHub Store and select "2026 Saturn's Return Family Show Shirt." Orders are open through September 15th so order soon. Help us fill the stands at games and competitions with Navy Blue to show your support for the Higley Marching Knights!
- CA TRIP INFORMATION: Our BoosterBucks donation drive goes until Sept. 7th! Make sure to create your specific student page to share to friends, family, and on social media or feel free to send this link around! On September 11th, the remaining funds due for the trip will be added to your student's inTouch account. https://app.boosterhub.com/fundraising/518/main
- STUDENT PICKUP & PARKING: Continue to help us ensure the safety of all students by parking in a parking space for pickup!
- SECTIONALS: Dates are currently in the calendar and all information about sectionals can be viewed here.
- VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We are still looking for parent volunteers for Thursday 9/10 at the end of rehearsal; Friday 9/25 Concessions; Thursday 10/1 Concessions. Give the "Volunteer" button on your BH Dashboard a click to see how you can be involved!
