Tax Credit
Arizona State Law enables you to receive a tax credit of up to $200 ($400 if married filing jointly) when you make a donation to our music program. It is a dollar-for-dollar credit which means that whatever amount you donate you get refunded back dollar-for-dollar on your Arizona state taxes. We will use your tax dollar donation to provide additional support and learning opportunities for our students.
You may designate your funds to a particular student, to a specific ensemble or to the band program in general. You may go directly to the Higley High School bookstore to pay your tax credit. Be sure to specify on the form where you want your funds to go so that they will designate them correctly. Also be sure to to get a copy of the receipt for yourself and for Mr. Sharp.

Sponsor the Band!
If you or anyone you know would like to sponsor the band for the current school year with a financial or services donation, please contact Juan Galvez, HIA President, at hiaboosterpresident@gmail.com to make arrangements.
HIA offers 3 sponsorship levels:
Page Sponsorship: $250
Any sponsor who donates $250 or more to the Higley Instrumental Association will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram social media platforms, and will be listed as a sponsor on our website.
Sponsors who donate at least $250 will also be announced at the 4 Band/Orchestra/Percussion Concerts during the school year and all home football games.
Squire Sponsorship: $500
A 12″ x 24″ removable decal will be placed on the trailer which displays the logo of any sponsor who donates $500 or more to the Higley Instrumental Association. The decal will remain on the trailer for a period of 1 year.
Squire Sponsors will also get all of the benefits of a Page Sponsor.
Knight Sponsorship: $750
An 18″ x 36″ removable decal will be placed on the trailer which displays the logo of any sponsor who donates $750 or more to the Higley Instrumental Association. The decal will remain on the trailer for a period of 1 year.
Knight Sponsors will also get all of the benefits of a Page Sponsor.
